Pascal is Head of Legal at Marcuard Trust. He is a specialist in banking law, wealth management and private client work.
Work experience
Pascal has more than nine years of experience in the wealth management sector and in banking law. He worked as a lawyer in the structuring team of Credit Suisse Trust Ltd., a subsidiary of Credit Suisse Group, to develop solutions for very specific wealth planning needs for a sophisticated private banking clientele. He was responsible for state of the art engineering and development of estate planning solutions and tax structures such as trusts, foundations and insurance products throughout their respective lifecycles. Previously, he was responsible for the analysis and overhaul of the company’s product range, including designing and implementing new wealth planning products for the Private Banking market place.
Prior to this he worked as a legal counsel for LGT Group, one of the major financial institutions in the Principality of Liechtenstein, focusing on banking, contract, commercial, finance and tax law, and as a lawyer for a Zug based law firm specialized on commercial and business law as well as private client work. Pascal started his professional career working as a legal counsel for the Swiss national settlement provider.
Education
Pascal is a Law School Graduate of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and earned his Masters of Law in Information Technology Law at Stockholm University, Sweden. He is a Swiss Attorney at Law (admitted in the Canton Zug).
He is fluent in German, English and French.
